
An effective food safety plan is essential for
food processors to meet the mandates of the
Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Former
FDA Associate Commissioner of Foods,
Dr. David Acheson, will provide guidance on
developing, executing and jump-starting a
comprehensive food safety plan. After this
session, you will be able to: identify the
components needed for a thorough written plan,
establish a system that enables ongoing documentation required by the
FSMA, and formalize existing practices.
